A document editor next to your tasks

Notes are for thoughts and tasks are for work, but plenty of things are neither: a spec, a runbook, meeting notes, a draft. Those live in the Hub, an editor and file store that sits in the same tab as your board, so the document and the task that references it are one click apart.

Two ways to write

The rich editor is a normal what-you-see-is-what-you-get surface: headings, bold, italic, strikethrough, inline code, bullet and numbered lists, checklists you can tick, blockquotes, code blocks, links and real tables. If you would rather write in Markdown, there is a plain Markdown mode over the same document, so you can switch depending on what you are writing.

Documents are stored as Markdown underneath. That matters for getting your work out later: what you export is a clean, portable file rather than a proprietary blob.

Files alongside documents

The Hub also holds uploaded files: images, PDFs and anything else you need to keep near the work. Images and PDFs preview in the browser. Files sit in private storage and are served only through short-lived signed links, never from a public bucket. Free accounts get 50 MB, Premium gets 2 GB.

• Markdown: the source, portable into any other editor.
• HTML: a finished, styled standalone page.
• PDF: through your browser's print dialog, so it matches what you see.
• Uploaded files download in their original format, unchanged.

Documents your AI can read

Hub documents and files are part of what Ask AI searches on Premium, along with your tasks, quick links and connected Notion pages. Ask what a runbook says or which document covered a decision, and the answer cites the item it came from so you can open the source rather than trusting a summary.
