Organizer features

Organizer replaces the blank new tab with a workspace you actually use. One page holds the work you have to do, the day ahead, the notes you scribble, the links you open constantly and the documents you keep coming back to. Here is the whole thing, feature by feature.

Task board

Tasks live on a kanban board with To Do, In Progress and Done columns. Premium adds up to five custom columns per board and up to ten separate boards, so work, side projects and home can stay apart without switching apps.

Priority, due dates and effort

Set a priority, a due date and time, an effort estimate, guests and a meeting link on any task. Overdue work is tinted so it does not slip past you.

Markdown descriptions

Task descriptions render Markdown, and pasted JSON is detected and pretty printed. Useful when a task is really a spec, a snippet or an API response.

Recurring tasks

Repeat daily, weekly, monthly or on a custom cadence. Completing an occurrence schedules the next one automatically.

Categories and tags

Group tasks however you think. One search box matches titles, descriptions, categories, tags and where a task came from.

Attachments

Attach hub documents and uploaded files directly to a task, so the brief travels with the work.

Archive

Finished work moves to an archive rather than vanishing. Undated done tasks archive themselves after a day, and anything archived can be restored.

Planning your day

A task list is not a plan. Organizer adds the small rituals that turn one into the other.

  • Plan my day: carry over what slipped from yesterday and pick up to three things that actually matter today.
  • Overdue triage: snooze a late task to today, tomorrow, next week or someday from the card itself, or sweep everything overdue into today at once.
  • Focus timer: a pomodoro that banks the time you spent on the task, so it survives closing the tab and follows you across devices.
  • Today meter: a progress bar of what you planned against what you finished, plus a streak counter.
  • Weekly review: a look back at what got done, what stalled and where your time went.

Calendar

A full month grid shows dated tasks from every board next to your real calendar events, so you can see whether the day you planned actually fits. Premium turns on two-way sync with Google Calendar and with Microsoft 365 and Outlook: events flow in, and tasks you schedule can be written back out.

Notes and quick links

Sticky notes in five colours for the things too small to be tasks. Quick links put the sites you open every day one click from the new tab, organised into collections, with real favicons. The free plan includes 20 quick links, Premium removes the limit.

Hub: documents and files

The Hub is where longer-lived material goes: Markdown documents with a rich editor, uploaded files such as images and PDFs, and a wiki-style structure to keep them in order. Free accounts get 50 MB, Premium gets 2 GB.

  • Share any document, file or folder with a short link that works for anyone, no account needed.
  • Premium adds passwords and expiry dates to share links, and you can revoke a link at any time.
  • Documents export as Markdown, HTML or PDF; files download in their original format.
  • Files are held in private storage and served only through short-lived signed URLs.

Ask AI

Ask AI answers questions from the content you already keep in Organizer: tasks, hub documents, uploaded files, quick links and connected Notion pages. Answers cite their sources so you can open the item they came from. Conversations are kept as threads you can return to, and follow-up questions keep the context. It is grounded in your workspace rather than the open web, so it is useful for questions like what did I decide about the pricing page, or which tasks mention the migration.

Capture

Work arrives from everywhere, so Organizer takes it from everywhere. Capture keeps its record of the source, and you can filter your board by it.

Browser capture

Turn the page you are on into a task from the extension popup, or right-click any selection and send it to your board.

Email to task

Forward or send an email to your Organizer address and it becomes a task, with attachments imported into your hub. Premium gives you a personalised address that is yours permanently.

GitHub auto-capture

Pull requests, issues and mentions become tasks automatically, so review requests stop getting buried in notifications. Premium.

API capture

A capture token lets scripts and automations post tasks straight into your board.

Insights

A dashboard of how you actually work: completion trends over time, where tasks come from, how captures break down by source, streaks and your busiest days. Charts are built from your own data and are colour-blind safe. Premium.

Reminders and digests

The extension can remind you before a task is due, and the toolbar icon carries a badge with how many things are due today. Optional email digests send a daily agenda each morning and a wider look back on Sundays, at the local hour you choose. Both are opt-in, and every digest has a one-click unsubscribe.

Sync, sign-in and your data

Organizer works with no account at all: everything stays on your device. Sign in with Google or GitHub and your tasks, boards, notes, links, documents and preferences sync across every browser and device you use, including the extension and the web app together. Sync is delta based, so it moves only what changed. Signing out wipes the app data from that device.

Personalisation

Light and dark themes that follow your system, thirteen accent colour presets plus a custom colour picker on Premium, a command palette on Cmd or Ctrl plus K for keyboard-first navigation, and a blur mode that hides task content when you are sharing your screen.
