A kanban board in every new tab
Most kanban tools are a website you have to remember to open. Organizer puts the board on the tab you already open dozens of times a day, so the state of your work is the default view rather than somewhere you navigate to.
Columns that match how you work
Every board starts with To Do, In Progress and Done. Premium lets you add up to five columns of your own per board, with your own names and colours, so a review step, a blocked state or a waiting-on-someone column can exist without being faked with labels. Drag a card between columns and the status follows.
Premium also gives you up to ten separate boards. Work, a side project and home each get their own columns and their own cards, and switching boards is one click from the board switcher. The free plan includes one board with the standard three columns.
What lives on a card
Priority and due date
High, medium or low, a due date and time, and an effort estimate. Overdue cards are tinted so they do not quietly slide down the column.
Markdown description
Descriptions render Markdown, and pasted JSON is detected and pretty printed, so a card can hold a real spec rather than a one-liner.
Categories and tags
Group cards however you think about them. One search box matches titles, descriptions, categories, tags and the source a task came from.
Attachments
Attach hub documents and uploaded files to a card so the brief travels with the work instead of living in a chat thread.
Recurrence
Repeat daily, weekly, monthly or on a custom cadence. Completing one occurrence schedules the next automatically.
Guests and links
Add a meeting link and the people involved, so a card about a call carries everything the call needs.
Keeping the board honest
Boards rot when finished work piles up and late work gets ignored. Organizer handles both. Done cards move to an archive rather than sitting in the Done column forever, and undated done tasks archive themselves after a day. Overdue cards can be snoozed to today, tomorrow, next week or someday straight from the card, or swept into today all at once.
The day planner asks you each morning what carries over and which three things actually matter, and the today meter shows planned against finished so the board reflects reality rather than optimism.
Beyond the board
Because the board shares a tab with everything else, dated cards also appear in the month calendar next to your real meetings, tasks can sync two ways with Google Calendar and Microsoft 365 on Premium, and the Insights dashboard charts completion trends, sources and streaks from the same data.
Document editor
Write docs in a rich editor or in Markdown, with tables, checklists and code blocks. Export to Markdown, HTML or PDF, and share by link with a password.
Google Calendar sync
See calendar events and dated tasks in one month grid, and sync tasks back to Google Calendar or Microsoft 365. Connected with OAuth, disconnect anytime.
